  • More than 28 Aboriginal Australians are murdered by British settler-colonists in the Myall Creek Massacre.

  • Italian Socialist leader Giacomo Matteotti is kidnapped and murdered by Fascists eleven days after he accused them of fraud in the previos election. He was one of the first victims of Italian Fascist repression.

  • The NATO bombing of Yugoslavia ends. More than 2,000 civilians, over 300 of whom were Albanian, the group NATO claimed the campaign was protecting.
