Alienation is the process whereby people become foreign to the world they are living in.[1] It is more common in capitalism than in other economic systems because workers do not control the product of their own labor.

As a consequence of Wage-slavery, Alienation of Labor occurs when when people have no choice but to work in a job they absolutely despise because it is not something you enjoy doing and so you have no connection to it and in some cases don't even know the purpose of your job but you are forced to or you will be without food, water, transportation, shelter and most importantly healthcare.
