The Red Nation is an anti-capitalist indigenous organization in the United States.[1] It runs three podcasts, The Red Nation Podcast, Red Power Hour, and Bands of Turtle Island.[2] The Red Nation supports the liberation of Palestine and opposes Israeli settler colonialism. It advocates for boycotting Israeli universities and companies that profit from Israel's occupation of Palestine.[3]
Ten Point Program
The Red Nation has ten points in its program:[4]
- Re-installment of treaty rights
- Full rights and equal protection for native people
- End to disciplinary violence against native and oppressed peoples
- End of discrimination against native youth and poor
- End to discrimination, persecution, killing, torture, and rape of native women
- End to discrimination, persecution, killing, torture, and rape of native LGBTQ+ people
- End to the dehumanization of native peoples
- Access to appropriate education, healthcare, social services, employment, and housing
- Repatriation of native lands and lives and protection of the environment
- End to capitalism and colonialism
