Transparency International (TI) is an international organization founded by World Bank associates in 1993. It claims to oppose corruption.[1]

Corruption Index[edit | edit source]

In 2013, TI published its first Government Defence Anti-Corruption Index, measuring alleged levels of corruption in 82 countries.[1]

Funding[edit | edit source]

Google and Microsoft, which are responsible for massive levels of corruption, have funded Transparency International. Its New Zealand branch (TINZ) is funded by the Security Intelligence Service and Government Communications Security Bureau, the Australian equivalents of the CIA and NSA. TINZ's CEO defended this funding by saying that Australian secret police agents "have a strong interest in fighting corruption."[1]
