In January 2020 Chipotle was sued for $1.3 million fine by the state of Massachusetts for 13,253 child labor violations in Massachusetts.[1]

July 2017 norovirus outbreak
In July 2017, a norovirus outbreak in Virginia occurred due to the restaurant managers' negligent enforcement of Chipotle's sick policy.[3][4]
