1. I found prolewiki through Gorja recommending it on the /r/TheDeprogram discord server 2. I would describe myself as a Marxist-Leninist. I had pretty much always been in favour of social democracy until the end of last year, when Doug Ford's impending privatization of healthcare in Ontario radicalized me further to the left, at first to being a DemSoc and then after reading some arguments about why reform doesn't actually work (such as in Chile) I moved into being a Marxist-Leninist. 3. I've read through your principles and pretty much completely agree with them, I think the critical support section should be expanded some more with regards to what your belief is over the Russia-Ukraine war, but considering what I've read on the wiki it is pretty clear you have a principled stance. 4. Gender is a social construct which exists on a spectrum, capitalism uses gender to divide the workers amongst themselves and create sections of superexploited people. The liberation of workers includes the liberation of the Queer community, and as such, Marxists must support those movements. 5. Stalin and Mao were both great revolutionary leaders of their time. Stalin was extremely important in defending the USSR and the world from the Nazis, though definitely had an extreme reaction with the ethic deportations which took place. The "Holodomor" was not a genocide, but a famine exacerbated by resistance to collectivization. Mao definitely made mistakes with the GPCR and GLF, but especially in the case of the GLF it was a net improvement for China. 6. I believe that all of those countries are socialist (excluding the DPRK and Laos since I don't know enough about them, they probably are though) since they have a communist party in power and the dictatorship of the proletariat is in effect. They are all socialist, working towards communism.

Secondary Questions 1. Dialectical materialism is the study of how the material world interacts with itself, creating the conditions for different environments and societies to evolve. It is looking at the contradictions which exist between parts of our world and how struggle between the two ends of a contradiction pushes society forward. 2. I would like to at first contribute information on the current and historical communist movement in Canada 4. I would like to add some links to other pages on the Canada page (such as bourgeois democracy) 9. The main difference is that Marxism is a science which looks at how the world is actually operating and creates and updates theory based on how Marxist movements throughout the world function and rise or fall. 10. Israel is a settler-colonial state which stands for the oppression of Palestine, not the liberation of Jewish people. anti-Zionism is not anti-semitism and the genocidal ideology of Zionism should be opposed by anyone who calls themself a leftist.
