According to it's founder, it was created on the idea to gather people of different nationalities to serve together against Russian Aggression. It has committed war crimes in the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian War including the torture and execution of Russian POWs. Similar to the Azov Battalion, Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and numerous other Right-Wing Groups in Ukraine, The Georgian Legion fought against the Russian Forces in the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian conflict [1].
