The Georgian Legion is a right-wing militia in Ukraine founded in 2014 by the Georgian Mamuka Mamulashvili who was a veteran of the Abkhaz-Georgian Conflict, First Chechen War and the Russo-Georgian War. According to it's founder, it was created on the idea to gather people of different nationalities to serve together against Russian Aggression. It has committed war crimes in the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian War including the torture and execution of Russian POWs. Similar to the Azov Battalion, Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and numerous other Right-Wing Groups in Ukraine, The Georgian Legion fought against the Russian Forces in the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian conflict [1]. The militia was composed of Georgian volunteers that were fighting for the Ukrainians in the war in the Donbass and the Donbass and the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian conflict. The unit was made part of the Ukrainian Army in 2016 under the Ukrainian 25th Mechanized Infantry Battalion aka the Kyiv's Rus.
