Kawsachun News is an anti-imperialist news outlet based in Bolivia which grew in popularity after the 2019 Bolivian coup where the Yankee empire undermined the sovereignty of Bolivia.[1] It is the English language service of Radio Kawsachun Coca, the official outlet of the 6 Federations of the Trópico of Cochabamba, the campesino workers unions of which Evo Morales is President.
The name, Kawsachun, comes from the historic slogan in Quechua, of the Indigenous struggles in the Trópico against the former U.S. military presence: ¡Kawsachun Coca, Wayñuchun Yankees! (Long live Coca, Yankees Out!)
