The Ming dynasty was a dynasty in Chinese history. It succeeded the Yuan dynasty and preceded the Qing dynasty.

History

At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the Mongol rulers were brutal and inhumane. There were rebellions all over China, and Zhu Yuanzhang led a rebellion and established the Ming dynasty with its capital in Nanjing.
