From ProleWiki, the proletarian encyclopedia

The Zimmerwald Conference was an anti-war meeting of Marxists in Zimmerwald, Switzerland in 1915. At the meeting, Vladimir Lenin, Alexandra Kollontai, and Karl Radek condemned the First World War as a war caused by imperialism. They encouraged the workers of all countries involved in the war to defy their rulers.[1]
