Advertising

From ProleWiki, the proletarian encyclopedia

Advertising, abbreviated as ads, is a series of techniques used to make people buy products. Most ads raise awareness of products. Some older ads also make an argument in favor of their product in an attempt to persuade viewers to buy it. Ads commonly make explicit or implicit promises.

Ads often use cultural imprinting to change culture as a whole instead of changing individual opinions. They also use emotional inception to associate their products with positive emotions.[1]
