Argishti II (died 680 BCE) was a king of Urartu. After his predecessor Rusa I was defeated by Assyria, he established peaceful relations with the Assyrian court. He focused on military campaigns toward the Caspian Sea and irrigation projects near Lake Van in the center of Urartu.[1]
