Colin Luther Powell (April 5, 1937 – October 18, 2021) was a Statesian general, politician and war criminal who served as United States secretary of state from 2001 to 2005 under George W. Bush. He previously served as national security advisor from 1987 to 1989 under Ronald Reagan and as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1989 to 1993.
Powell oversaw the 1990 invasion of Iraq that killed 200,000 people and sanctioned Iraq after the war, killing 567,000 children. In 2003, he lied to the UN Security Council by claiming that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.[1]
