1. I found ProleWiki on Twitter. I've never heard of it before what makes me wonder because I've been an active Marxist-Leninist for over a year, being on a lot of Social Media platforms looking for comrades and an alternative to bourgeois media. 2. As of today, I consider myself a Marxist-Leninist, I am also an active member of the German Marxist-Leninist Youth Organization SDAJ (Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterjugend), although I can't be that active at the moment because I'm living and working in Bolivia as a voluntary worker. I started becoming interested in more radical left wing ideas during the early days of the Coronavirus pandemic back in 2020, educating myself more and more and finally meeting some MLs at a rally in my hometown in Germany who invited me to their group (the SDAJ Ulm) where we did a lot of basic reading in bookcircles about Marxist philosophy, political economy, anti-imperialism and so on. Marxism-Leninism has finally given me a way of viewing the world that makes sense to me, that can explain problems in economy and society in a deeper and more scientific way than all the liberal education I received from German school, German media, etc. beforehand. That's why I'm ML :) 3. I have read ProleWiki's principles and I agree on them. 4. Since my childhood I have been very interested and fascinated by Chinese history and culture (as presented in the West). In 2020, when I started to educate myself more about socialism, I also started to educate myself more about modern day China and looking beyond the lies and narratives of Western bourgeois media. I believe that the PRC is a socialist country that has achieved tremendous successes in fighting poverty and educating the masses. I'm also planning on going to University in China in 2 or 3 years in order to further educate myself and get to know Chinese people and culture myself. 5. My position on Joseph Stalin is very positive. I believe that he was a great theoretician (I've read some of his works, e.g. Dialectical and Historical Materialism) and a responsible leader that led the USSR towards great achievements like defeating European fascism, rapid industrialization of the USSR, fighting poverty and increasing well-being of all peoples who were part of the USSR. I think Stalin is a great revolutionary person who shaped the course of history for the better and continued Marx's, Engel's and Lenin's work. Nowadays, critics of Stalin often forget the historical and material context of his time or simply ignore it. As a Marxist-Leninist I think that Stalin made important contributions to developing the ideology, but not only that, he also practically acted following the ideology and improved the lives of millions by that. 6. I think of gender as the sex a person identifies as, in contrast to the biological sex they were born. I believe most members of the LGBT community are also members of the working-class and should therefore be regarded and supported as all other working-class people that are positioned in class struggle against the exploiting class. I don't have any problem with a LGBT person and I won't judge people based on the gender they identify as. I have to admit, though, that I am kind of annoyed by some LGBT people on Social Media who see an offense or disrespect in everything other people talk about. Concluding, I believe that LGBT people are people like me and everyone else. The focus of us should be working towards revolution and acknowledging the problems working-class people have to face day by day. So yes, Marxists should support the LGBT movement, but shouldn't surrender to liberal ideas on this topic and shouldn't prioritize it over other problems like wage-labour, fascism on the rise, etc.
