The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is a neocolonial organization of fifteen West African countries. It is threatening to declare war on Niger on behalf of the USA and France and has already sanctioned Niger. Burkina Faso and Mali have said that they will go to war to defend Niger.[1]
