The Five Heads of Communism as commonly regarded by Hoxhaists.

Hoxhaism is a dogmatic anti-revisionist ideology that is based off the writings of Enver Hoxha who was the former General Secretary of the Party of Labour of Albania. It first appeared as a distinct ideology after the 1970s in the context of both the Albanian–Soviet split and Sino-Albanian split, Hoxhaism is based on tenets which include a rejection of perceived social-imperialist states, the defense of the political and economic policies in the Soviet Union under Stalin, and a firm adherence to anti-imperialism, particularly in regards to the building of revolutionary movements.[1]

Hoxhaism asserts itself to be the true continuation of Marxism-Leninism after the rise of revisionism during the 20th congress of the CPSU in 1956. As such, Hoxhaists rarely self-identify their ideology as being separate from Marxism-Leninism. Hoxhaism has been followed by numerous political parties that followed the pro-Albanian Line as a result of the Sino–Albanian Split, especially ones aligned with the International Conference of Marxist–Leninist Parties and Organizations.
