The Huey P. Newton Gun Club is a leftist black nationalist armed group in the United States. It is named after Huey P. Newton, a founder of the Black Panther Party.[1] Rakem Balogun, one of its founders, was arrested by the FBI for being a "black identity extremist."[2]
Demands
- An immediate end to police brutality and murder of people of color
- An end to Black-on-Black violence and self-hatred
- Arming every Black person in the United States[3]
Rules
- No member will handle a firearm while intoxicated.
- No member will point a firearm at the public loaded or unloaded.
- No member will participate in illegal activities while wearing club patch or logo.
- All members must purchase and wear club patch.
- All members must legally purchase a firearm.
- Membership must refrain from speaking to the media without proper clearance.
- No members will speak to law enforcement about club business.
- No HPNGC Club will accept grants or money from the government.
- No member will quit their post until properly relieved.
- No discussion of religion during club business.
- Club council will deal with all violations.[4]
