The Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) is a progressive think tank in the United States co-founded in 1961 by Marcus Raskin and Richard Barnet. After escaping the Pinochet dictatorship, former minister Orlando Letelier joined the IPS to study USA–Chilean relations under the Allende government and begin planning a resistance movement.[1]
