The Kingdom of Israel was an Iron Age kingdom located in northern Palestine.

In 876 BCE, ʿOmrī founded a powerful dynasty that ruled over Israel. In 722 BCE, the Assyrians conquered Israel and forced part of its population into Mesopotamia.[1]
