The Liberal Party of Canada (LPC) is a centre-right neoliberal bourgeois political party in Canada that has been in power since 2015. Since confederation, the Liberals have formed government in 26 out of 44 general elections. The LPC positions itself as less reactionary that the other major bourgeois party, the neoliberal, socially conservative Conservative Party of Canada, whilst also being less progressive than the social-democratic New Democratic Party.
