Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is a capitalist microstate in Western Europe. The country is sandwiched between Belgium, France, and Germany. Luxembourg is a member of NATO and the European Union. Luxembourg is a tax haven which in 2016 allowed US company Walmart to hide an estimated $76 billion of its foreign earnings despite Walmart having no stores in Luxembourg.[1]
