Mark Lane (February 24, 1927 – May 10, 2016) was a Statesian politician who criticized the CIA and Warren Commission. He visited the Jonestown cult in Guyana in 1978 and became an attorney for Jim Jones but escaped into the jungle before while Jones was killing his followers. Days later, he testified to the House Select Committee on Assassinations, arguing that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone.[1]
