Menkaura (died c. 2503 BCE) was the fourth ruler of the Fourth Dynasty of ancient Egypt. The Old Kingdom began to decline during his reign. He commissioned a 66-meter tall pyramid, less than half as tall as the pyramids of his father and grandfather.[1]
