Mušezibmarduk (died 689 BCE) was a Babylonian ruler. In 692 BCE, he allied Babylon with Elam and the Chaldean tribes to rebel against Assyria. King Humbannumena of Elam successfully drove out the Assyrians. When the Elamite king suffered paralysis two years later, Sînaḥḥīerība of Assyria began a siege of Babylon and captured the city in April 689 BCE.[1]
