Noda Tsuyoshi (Japanese:野田毅 Hiragana:のだつよし 1912 - January 28, 1948), from Kagoshima, Japan, was a Class C war criminal in the Japanese invasion of China and a junior officer in the Japanese army. In 1937, before and after the capture of Nanking, he and Mukai Toshiaki engaged in a horrific killing contest in which Noda Tsuyoshi savagely hacked and killed 105 Chinese soldiers and civilians with a military sword. On December 18, President Shih Mei Yu sentenced Noda and Mukai to death for murder and war crimes, and on January 28, 1948, Noda and Mukai were taken to the Yuhuatai execution ground for execution.
