Pesmetjek III (died 525 BCE) was the last pharaoh of the 26th Dynasty of Egypt. He ruled for less than a year before being deposed by the Persian army led by Kambūjiyah II.[1]
During the failed Persian invasion of Ethiopia, the Egyptians rebelled. Kambūjiyah returned to Men-nefer at the end of 524 BCE and executed Pesmetjek.[1]
