Rajani Palme Dutt (19 June 1896 – 20 December 1974) was a British communist politician and historian who served as the fourth general secretary of the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGB) from 1939 to 1941. His works played an important role in the development of Marxist historiography in Britain and India.
