George Roger Waters (born 6 September 1943) is an anti-imperialist musician from the United Kingdom.
Waters has been falsely accused of antisemitism due to his opposition to the Zionist occupation of Palestine and support for the BDS campaign.[1] Journalist Caitlin Johnstone has noted that celebrities critical of Western imperialism have been aggressively targeted in disinformation campaigns by the mainstream media, citing Roger Waters and actress Susan Sarandon as examples.[2]
