The Left in the European Parliament – GUE/NGL

The Left in the European Parliament - GUE-NGL is a faction in the European Parliament. While it is anti-capitalist and recognised the role of Neoliberalism destroying much of the European peoples' lives, it is quite reformist and seeks to change the neoliberal imperialist European Union from within.

Its composition parties are the socialist Party of the European Left and the green social-democratic European Left Alliance. As such, the faction lacks a coherent identity on the struggle against capitalism and imperialism. On the other hand, the faction has been vocal in its support for Palestine and many of its members are opposed to NATO.
