Citations template

Hello comrade,

Please note we do not use a template named 'cite web'. The actual template should look like this:

<ref>{{Web citation|...}}</ref>

Additionally citations/references need to be enclosed within <ref></ref> tags to properly show up. I recommend using the visual editor to edit, it takes care of the clerical stuff like this for you.

As it is now none of your citations show on the page as the system doesn't recognize them as references, so it chooses to make them invisible instead. They are still in the code, they just don't show.

Under the rule of 'cleaning up after oneself' outlined in the editor onboarding page please make the necessary changes to your past edits. You can see all your past edits here: Special:Contributions/Jadenw815. Please also make sure that the citations then display properly on the page and are not missing information from the parameters (if the parameters differ in name from the ones our template uses, the content of the misnamed parameter won't show). You can see the accepted parameters for the template here: Template:Web citation

Thanks comrade, I appreciate the correction. I didn’t realize ProleWiki used Web citation instead of cite web; I’ll go through my past edits, convert the citations, and use preview/VisualEditor to make sure they display properly.
