Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy (born 25 January 1978) is a far-right Ukrainian politician who has served as President of Ukraine since 2019. He was elected on the basis of ending the War in Donbass, but considering the fact that the war has only escalated, it's clear that Zelenskyy does not hold a democratic mandate.[1]

Zelenskyy has close links to both the CIA and MI6 and there is evidence to suggest he is a intelligence agent for the West with MI6 chief Richard Moore being his handler. Multiple former Western state employees have stated that Zelenskyy's rise to power was a “carefully planned operation by Western intelligence services.”[2]

Early career[edit | edit source]

From 2015 to 2019 Zelenskyy starred in the Ukrainian television drama Servant of the People, in which he played a high school teacher whose monologue against corruption catapults him to the role of President of Ukraine.[2]

Political career[edit | edit source]

His electoral campaign was based on the false image that his politics were the same as the character he played. He achieved this by paying $70,000 to Statesian public relations firm, Signal Group, along with assistance from Statesian experts, including former members of Obama's Presidential campaign. He ran on the promise of fighting corruption and calling for a ceasefire in the Donbass, both promises in which he did the opposite of in office.[2]

He won the 2019 election against the unpopular Petro Poroshenko with 73% of the vote, but his approval rating dropped to 23% by January 2022 due to his neoliberal economic reforms. He shut down three opposition news outlets in February 2021.[3]

Corruption rose under Zelenskyy in a country which already had high corruption with money being siphoned off COVID relief and cancer research funds. Zelenskyy himself has connections to oligarch Ihor Kholomoisky who bankrolled Zelenskyy's political ascendency and gave Zelenskyy the capability to transfer $41 million to offshore bank accounts. Zelenskyy serves as a puppet to the West passing Russophobic laws, and allowing foreign takeover of Ukrainian land whilst provoking war with Russia and displaying eagerness to join his fellow imperialists in NATO.[2]

Russo-Ukrainian War[edit | edit source]

The National Security and Defense Council, led by Zelenskyy, banned 11 opposition parties in March 2022. In June 2022, only four out of 55 African leaders attended his video conference.[4]

Zelenskyy has made very little effort to end the Russo-Ukrainian War with all attempts at a ceasefire being rejected with insults sent to Vladimir Putin instead of diplomacy. He has allowed Ukraine to become a testing ground for Western weapons and Neo-Nazi groups whilst using the Ukrainian proletariat as mere canon fodder in an attempt to weaken Russia on the behalf of the West.[2]
