Jiangsu(江苏), a province of [[China]]. The population of Jiangsu sits at 85 million. The capital is [[Nanjing]]. 

== History ==
During the period of [[Shang dynasty]], there were two kingdoms in Jiangsu: Wu and Shu.

During the [[Western Jin Dynasty]], due to the endless wars in northern China, a large number of people migrated to Jiangsu, which brought great development to Jiangsu.

After the [[Xinhai Revolution]] broke out in 1911, Jiangsu also declared its independence from the [[Qing dynasty (1636–1912)|Qing]] Dynasty.

In 1937, the [[Japanese]] army occupied Jiangsu Province. [[The Nanjing Massacre]] was carried out in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province and the capital of the [[Republic of China]]
