The publicization aims to publicize the [[Communist Party of China]]'s governing philosophy. According to the English version of the journal, "about 60% " of the articles that are published in the journal are written by leaders that include the General Secretary of the [[Communist Party of China]] [[Xi Jinping]] as well as senior officials at the ministerial and provincial levels. Other contributors include scholars and researchers of China's think tanks and academic institutions. 
 
To reflect the official positions of the CPC and it's leaders, the goal of the journal is to "educate and guide the whole party to consciously maintain a high degree of consistency and guide the CPC's Central Committee in ideological as well as political actions.
