Editing Spanish–Statesian War

The '''Spanish–Statesian War''' was a war between the [[United States of America|United States]], [[Kingdom of Spain (1874–1931)|Spain]], and independence fighters from [[Republic of Cuba|Cuba]] and the [[Republic of the Philippines|Philippines]]. In April 1898, the USA declared war on Spain after the ''USS Maine'' sank. After quickly defeating the Spanish, the USA [[Colonialism|colonized]] Cuba.
