Topic on Talk:Provisional Military Government of Socialist Ethiopia (1974–1987)

From ProleWiki, the proletarian encyclopedia

A socialist military junta could aid in suppression of bourgeois elements. A Marxist military junta could still be supported by the people. Maybe there was a bourgeois military junta established earlier that the people hated; or a Marxist party has popular support and the people want the bourgeois government out of their land.

As long as the military junta doesn't oppress proletarians; a military junta could aid in supporting the people.

Of course, the military junta should be able to be democratically dissolved by the people. A military junta is not necessary for a socialist state to survive, as proven by the existence of the USSR and People's Republic of China.

More details on this page are definitely needed though; and I might be missing information that goes counter to this opinion.
