The Luhansk People's Republic (Луганск Народной Республики in russian) is a separatist state of limited recognition, located in the Donbass region. [1]
Due to the colour revolution called Euromaidan that led to the rise of fascism in Ukraine, Russian minorities have been persecuted and this has resulted in the separation of Crimea and the founding of two separatist states in Donbass.
It is not a socialist state despite its suggestive name.
