Yahya Ibrahim Hassan Al-Sinwar (29 October 1962[1] – 16 October 2024), known as Yahya Sinwar, was a Palestinian national liberation revolutionary. He was a founding member of Hamas and became chairman of its Political Bureau in August 2024 following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, and served in the post until Sinwar's own assassination in October 2024.
