Farmers “arrest” the sheriff for trying to evict a woman from her farm on behalf of the insurance company. Michigan, 1952.[1]

Eviction defense refers to methods of preventing eviction, where someone is forcibly removed from their residence, usually due to failure to pay rent or mortgage.

The United States which is facing a housing crisis is also facing an eviction crisis[2], which could be alleviated through various eviction defense methods.
