The Taiwan Province (also known as Taiwan, TW; Chinese: 台湾) is a province of China.
Taiwan first became part of the Eastern Wu dynasty in 230 AD.
The Taiwan province is currently occupied by remnants of the previous Republic of China government. After the Communist Party of China overthrew the KMT government in Nanjing, they fled to Guangdong. The PLA chased them around China before they only had control of one last province. The KMT planned reconquer the rest of China, but quickly abandoned these plans.
