This reading list is recommended for individuals who are new to the Palestinian resistance and seek more context to gain a deeper understanding of the events leading up to Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa. Additionally, it serves those who already possess some familiarity with the Palestinian struggle against the Zionist Entity's ethnic cleansing but wish to delve deeper into Zionism and the broader resistance against Zionism from the wider West Asia (Middle East)

Disclaimer: The book about Hezbollah and the Israel Lobby are not Marxist analysis. These two books are included because it will give you a well rounded understanding of the Zionist Entity and Palestine. Take what's good and leave what isn’t great analysis. If you're newer to Marxism and you're not comfortable with making your own dialectical analysis yet then just stay with the other works until you have the experience you need. Perhaps start with our Absolute beginner reading list first to gain the beginnings of that analysis.

If you're only seeking a primer and a means to challenge prevalent misconceptions, Ten Myths about Israel by Ilan Pappe and the first essay serves this purpose well.

Work Why it was picked
To Stop Marx, They Made Zion by Cde-Editor Katsfoter This article not only succinctly addresses how Zionism emerged as a response to the 'Jewish Question,' uniting petit-bourgeois Jews and European antisemites but also unveils how it continues to be in-league with antisemitism today. It meticulously unravels the Zionist entity, exposing it as a system of settler colonialism and apartheid. Delving deeper, it confronts pivotal questions: Is Palestine truly the Jewish homeland? Who are the Palestinians? It ends, by revealing how the genocide of Palestinians serves as a breeding ground for furthering US fascism.
The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine by Ilan Pappe This book presents a detailed historical account of the 1948 Nakba. Examining the Zionist planning and implementation of the displacement and destruction experienced by the Palestinian population alongside the Arab response and international reactions.
Hezbollah a Short History by Augustus Norton The resistance to the Zionist Entity extends beyond Palestine, encompassing the greater Middle East. Through the authors examination of Hezbollah's development and evolution, this book offers a broader perspective, granting newcomers to West Asia Politics valuable insights into the influential group's regional impact and its role in the resistance to Zionism.
The Israel Lobby & US Foreign Policy by John Mearshiemer While we've explored several facets of this complex puzzle, there's one critical piece that remains: the role of the United States in this narrative. If you've ever questioned the unwavering support extended by the U.S., and, by extension NATO countries, to the Zionist Entity despite its historical and ongoing atrocities, this book provides the answers you seek. You'll gain a comprehensive understanding of how the The Zionist Entity's lobby significantly molds U.S. foreign policy in the West Asia, resulting in far-reaching consequences that extend to occupied Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, and beyond.
We very well may be seeing the end of "israel" by CriticalResist While reading the other content can be heartbreaking, this hopeful essay catches us up to the current situation (Irans first attack on the zionist entity) shedding light on how the Zionist Entity is failing on all fronts and we will probably see its downfall within our lifetimes. Take heart, comrades. From the river to the sea Palestine will be free!
