Orthodox Christianity, also known as Eastern Orthodox Christianity is the earliest Christian dogma present.

It developed in the region of Palestine, and later spread in the Helladic area and the Middle East.

There are 4 Presbyteran Patriarchates which represent the Orthodox church:

  • The Ecumenical Patriarchate or Patriarchate of Constantinople in Constantinople.
  • The Patriarchate of Alexandria in Alexandria.
  • The Patriarchate of Antioch, today in Damascus, Syria instead of Antioch and
  • The Patriarchate of Jerusalem in Jerusalem, the "Mother of the Churches".

Before the 1054 Schism, the patriarchate of Rome was included as well.
