I found ProleWiki through the Twitter account, I wanted to join due to interest on the concept of an encyclopedia dedicated to communism, and the information it had in relation to countries like Cuba, Bolivia and Venezuela specifically. I plan on contributing with more articles on Venezuelan history and politics, along with expanding upon articles in spanish ProleWiki.

I am a Marxist-Leninist, I advocate for a planned economy, the dictatorship of the proletariat, social ownership of the means of production and the distribution of products according to the amount of work performed by each individual and I support the currently existing socialist states of Cuba, China, DPRK, Laos and Vietnam.

I've read the principles of ProleWiki and I have no real criticism of it, I agree with supporting the current socialist states such as the DPRK or Cuba, critical support of nations that fight US imperialism like Palestine and Russia along with avoiding things such as "patriotic socialism".

I have not researched the topic of gender extensively, I however agree that a Marxist should be entirely supportive of queer liberation, the abolition of gender as a social construct along the abolition of the family as it's an organization based on specifically the gain of capital and maintaining patriarchy, etc...

Both Stalin and Mao Zedong were extremely important historical figures and great contributors to Marxism, Mao not only liberated his country from fascism and lead a revolutionary army, developed Mao Zedong Thought to apply Marxism-Leninism to the material conditions of China, but also founded the largest and most developed workers state that currently exists to this day, Stalin managed to successfully industrialize the Soviet Union in less than 6 years making it a world superpower, developed Marxism-Leninism from the writings of Lenin and was the leading force against fascism during World War 2.

The current socialist states of China, Vietnam, Cuba, DPRK and Laos are all as stated previously, socialist, although most of these have resorted to increased market mechanisms in order to develop productive forces, there is still a dominance of state ownership and planning along with the dictatorship of the proletariat being maintained in the current socialist order of all these countries.

Settler-colonialism is the term given to the practice of colonizers and settlers invading land and attempting to get rid of the people previously living there and replacing them along with exploiting the resources of said land. The country of Palestine is an example of this. The current conditions of indigenous groups in Venezuela have been somewhat harsh because of the economic crisis and the lack of resources thanks to multiple sanctions being imposed causing crisis related to disease and even miners trying to steal natural resources at one point when the crisis was at it's worst, they however received better treatment after Hugo Chavez came into power in 1998 with the 1999 constitution, they have their land be respected and maintained with government protection, government aid and recognition through days dedicated to celebration of their culture, etc...

The situation that is currently taking place in Palestine is one of a national liberation organization fighting against settler-colonialism that has been taking place for decades, this happening in the first place because of the United States forcibly establishing the "state of Israel" and kicking out the Palestinians who had lived there through ethnic-cleansing, this being publicly documented, such as Nakba or the recent footage of the genocide taking place in Gaza from numerous sources. The October 7th attacks from Hamas were entirely justified for this reason, it is right to rebel, and they have no reason to conform with Apartheid.

Dialectical materialism is the form of scientific analysis developed by Marx and Engels based on principles that derive from nature, having it's roots in Hegelian dialectic, with Marx stating that the difference between the two is that they're both the exact opposite. To Hegel, the process of thinking (under the name of "the idea") is responsible for the creation of the real world and therefore, that the material world is just an external form of "the idea". With Marx, the ideal is nothing but the material world reflected by the persons mind translated into thoughts. Dialectical materialism is applied to analyze the contradictions between labour and capital, between classes, etc... For example, how the proletariat and bourgeoisie are classes that both directly contradict each other because of their different goals.

I am supportive of national liberation as it is a necessary measure in order to achieve a proletarian revolution later on, a national liberation movement could already be a proletarian one aswell, every oppressed nation has the right to self-determination and as Mao stated, national liberation is part of world socialist revolution.

Marxism is post-capitalist, Marxism is not populist, does not preach morality and instead analyzes events through dialectical and historical materialism, it does not seek reform (like many if not all of these anti-capitalist movements) and Marxism is not an ideological, in contrast to common utopic socialist and social democratic movements.

In Venezuela, the leadership of the Communist party was taken over by the current government in order to have the party support him in elections, this leading to no proper vanguard party existing in the country, there's no real "popular" Communist party aside from "Bandera Roja", which is a Hoxhaist one responsible for creating mass riots in recent years, it however has collaborated with far-right and liberal parties aswell. I personally highly respect the "real" Communist party before the government took over and it's youth league (which was luckily unaffected by said government intervention), it is technically still alive just underground for the time being.

Yes, I have read works pertaining to those of actually existing socialist states, specifically that of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il, Mao Zedong, Xi Jinping, etc... Kim Il-Sung and Juche in general stood out to me, with lots of it reminding me of Mao when handling the National question and Marx + Engels when they state that “humanity will become masters of themselves" as it's something that Engels says in Socialism: Utopian and Scientific. Many claim Juche is "third way" or "revisionist", but it's the opposite of it, it is merely Marxism-Leninism applied to the conditions of Korea.
