Jeremy Loffredo is a Statesian independent journalist who has worked for the Grayzone. In October 2024, while covering the "Israeli" front in Occupied Palestine for the journal, he was arrested by the IOF on charges of publishing protected information (documenting the damages from Hezbollah's strikes) along with a few other US-based journalists.[1]
While other journalists were released after a few hours, Jeremy was detained for several days until an "Israeli" court ordered his release thanks to the massive pushback from concerned citizens around the world who objected to the arrest. He was released on 10 October but is still unable to leave the country. His passport has been confiscated along with his equipment (phones and cameras).[1]
