Edmundo González Urrutia (born 29 August 1949) is a Venezuelan politician and pretender to the presidency of Venezuela. His claim is supported by the EU and USA.[1]

2024 election

González ran for president in 2024 on 28 July 2024. The National Electoral Council announced that he received 43.18% of the vote, which the Supreme Court later confirmed. Nicolás Maduro defeated him with 51.95% of the vote. González claimed that he won the election, and courts asked him to show evidence to prove that he won, which he refused to do.[1]
