Paul Collette (12 August 1920 – 5 January 1995) was a French monarchist, sailor, and resistance fighter who gained fame after attempting to assassinate Nazi collaborator Pierre Laval on 27 August 1941 at a ceremony of the Legion of French Volunteers Against Bolshevism in Versailles.[1]
