Stonewall rebellion

The Stonewall rebellion was an uprising against police oppression against LGBT+ people that began on June 27, 1969 at the Stonewall Inn in New York City. Police attempted to remove LGBT people from the bar, but they fought back and 18 people were arrested.[1]
