Ezequiel Zamora (1 February 1817 – 10 January 1860) was a progressive Venezuelan general. He led a peasant rebellion in 1846 and supported the peasants again in the Federal War, which lasted from 1859 to 1863, when he fought against the oligarchy and for redistribution of land and wealth.[1]
