The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is a Zionist organization based in the United States. It began as a civil rights organization to combat racism but is now dedicated to supporting Israel and claims that, "Zionism is a fundamental component of many Jews' identities."[1]

Zionist activities

In the 1970s, the ADL condemned the Palestinian Liberation Organization and boycott of Israel.

It described the UN's World Conference against Racism in South Africa in 2001 as "antisemitic." It also accused Jimmy Carter of antisemitism because of his book Palestine: Peace not Apartheid.[1]

ADL is known for having spied on Civil Rights activists and making false accusations of antisemitism against the Black Panthers during the 1960s at the height of Civil Rights activism in the United States.
