The Communist Party of Ireland is an all-Ireland Marxist-Leninist political party. It was founded in 1933 and is a member of the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties. It publishes two newspapers, the weekly Unity and monthly Socialist Voice. The Connolly Youth Movement is organizationally independent but in practice operates as the youth wing of the party.

Eugene McCartan has been General-Secretary since 2002 while John Pinkerton has been Chairperson since 2018.
